The MBP-1 is designed especially for handheld HD camcorders with smaller profiles. It is the first of it’s kind by ARRI.
Our MBP-1 comes with 24cm (9 and 1/2″) 15mm aluminum rods.
The MBP-1 Baseplate is available separately, or in a custom cased kit with the MMB-1 Mattebox and MFF-1 Follow Focus.

Vertical and horizontal adjustable centering mechanism to compensate for variations in camera base to optical axis measurements
Fits Sony EX-1, Sony EX-3 and Panasonic HVX-200 cameras
Also compatible with Canon HDSLR cameras when used with Arri’s Canon 5D Riser or battery grip
Fully compatible with ARRI 15mm lightweight support rod standard
